EU heads of state and government and opposition leaders of the European People's Party (EPP), along with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission - Donald TUSK and Jean-Claude JUNCKER - will participate at the upcoming Summit of the party, which will take place in Brussels on 15 October. On the agenda will be the preparation of the European Council, which will take place later today. EPP President Joseph DAUL will host the Summit. The Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament, Manfred WEBER, EPP Secretary General Antonio LÓPEZ-ISTÚRIZ and the members of the EPP Presidency will be present. Angela MERKEL (Germany), Mariano RAJOY (Spain), Boyko BORISSOV (Bulgaria), Viktor ORBÁN (Hungary), Enda KENNY (Ireland), Laimdota STRAUJUMA (Latvia) and Pedro PASSOS COELHO (Portugal) will participate at the Summit. Moreover, Deputy Prime Ministers Kris PEETERS (Belgium), Pavel BĔLOBRÁDEK (Czech Republic) and opposition leaders Nicolas SARKOZY (France), Janez JANŠA (Slovenia), Simon BUSUTTIL (Malta), Jan FIGEL' (Slovakia), Sybrand VAN HAERSMA BUMA (The Netherlands) and Marc SPAUTZ (Luxembourg) will attend the EPP Summit.
