EU and non-EU heads of state and government as well as opposition leaders of the European People’s Party (EPP), along with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission – Donald TUSK and Jean-Claude JUNCKER – will participate at the upcoming Summit of the party, which will take place in Brussels on 17 March. On the agenda will be the preparation of the European Council of 17 and 18 March. EPP President Joseph DAUL will host the Summit. The Chairman of the EPP Group in the European Parliament Manfred WEBER, EPP Secretary General Antonio LÓPEZ-ISTÚRIZ and the members of the EPP Presidency will be present. Angela MERKEL (Germany), Nicos ANASTASIADES (Cyprus), Boyko BORISSOV (Bulgaria), Viktor ORBÁN (Hungary) and Mariano RAJOY (Spain) will participate at the Summit. Deputy Prime Minister Arvils AŠERADENS (Latvia), Deputy Prime Minister Pavel BĔLOBRÁDEK (Czech Republic), Vice Chancellor Reinhold MITTERLEHNER (Austria), Deputy Prime Minister Kris PEETERS (Belgium), Minister of Interior Angelino ALFANO (Italy), Minister of Finance Alexander STUBB (Finland), Minister of Social Protection Margus TSAHKNA (Estonia) and opposition leaders Janez JANŠA (Slovenia), Pedro PASSOS COELHO (Portugal), Simon BUSUTTIL (Malta), Anna KINBERG BATRA (Sweden), Kyriakos MITSOTAKIS (Greece), Grzegorz SCHETYNA (Poland), Marc SPAUTZ (Luxembourg) and Sybrand VAN HAERSMA BUMA (The Netherlands) will attend the EPP Summit.
