On Tuesday 14 May, Ursula von der Leyen, EPP Lead Candidate, will be in Copenhagen, Denmark to speak at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit and meet with the Conservative People's Party (Det Konservative Folkeparti).
EPP Lead Candidate Ursula von der Leyen will be the keynote speaker at the Copenhagen Democracy Summit 2024, delivering her speech on the topic “a Strong Europe in the World”.
The speech will be broadcast live on her X account at +/- 09:25 CEST.
After her speech, the EPP Lead Candidate will meet with Democracy Tech Fellows from Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova. She will then meet with the leadership of the Conservative People's Party, including party leader Mona Juul and lead candidate Niels Flemming Hansen.
Later in the day, EPP Lead Candidate von der Leyen will visit the Danish Cleantech company, Topsoe, to learn more about their solutions to reduce carbon emissions.
