EPP Congress in Rotterdam on 31 May – 1 June: press practicalities Brussels, 20 May 2022 The European People’s Party (EPP) will hold its Congress on 31 May and 1 June 2022 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Detailed information, including the full programme can be found at https://rotterdam2022.epp.eu/. Co-hosted by Christen-Democratisch Appèl (CDA), EPP President Donald TUSK and EPP Secretary General Antonio LÓPEZ-ISTÚRIZ, the Congress will focus on defending democracy and reaffirming EPP values. The Congress will elect the EPP Presidency, including the President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer and Secretary General. Date: Tuesday, 31 May and Wednesday, 1 June 2022 Venue: Ahoy Rotterdam. Ahoyweg 10, 3084 BA Rotterdam, Netherlands. Press can access the venue using the dedicated press entrance. Accreditation  Journalists wishing to attend the EPP Congress must register by 27 May 2022 via the following e-form: https://epp.org/3qvNFXx. Journalists can pick up their badges at the accreditation desk located at the Congress venue. Please bring a valid form of media identification to gain entrance. Accreditation will be open on Tuesday, 31 May from 08:30 and Wednesday, 1 June from 08:00. Due to security screening, some delays should be anticipated. Press working area There will be a press working area in which the pool signal will be distributed. Please note that on 1 June, the press working area will close at 17:00. Stand-up positions The stand-up positions are located in the plenary hall. They will be accessible on Tuesday, 31 May from 12:30 and Wednesday, 1 June from 08:45. Live broadcasting via satellite The EPP will provide live coverage of the event via satellite. The pool signal will also be distributed in the press working rooms. The signal will be broadcast on Tuesday, 31 May from 12:00 GMT until 19:00 GMT and on Wednesday, 1 June from 07:45 GMT to 11:30 GMT.
