The European People’s Party (EPP) will hold its Congress on 29-30 April 2025 at the Feria de Valencia. Co-hosted by Partido Popular (PP), the Congress will serve as a moment of unity for our political family – at a time when the EPP leadership seeks to chart the course for the coming years.
The Congress will elect the new EPP Presidency, including the President, Vice-Presidents, Secretary General and Treasurer. Further information is available on the dedicated website: https://www.eppcongress2025.eu/.
Date: Tuesday, 29 April and Wednesday, 30 April 2025
Venue: Feria de Valencia. Av. De les Fires, s/n, Pobles de l’Oest, 46035, Valencia.
Press can access the venue using the main entrance.
Accreditation
Journalists can pick up their badges at the accreditation desk located at the Congress venue. Journalists who have not registered before the deadline will not be registered or granted access to the venue.
Please bring a valid form of media identification to gain entrance, either national press ID card or European Council press accreditation badge. Those without press ID must bring the signed letter from the editor-in-chief of their media organisation that was submitted in advance.
Accreditation will be open on Tuesday, 29 April from 08:00 and Wednesday, 30 April from 07:45. Due to security screening, some delays should be anticipated.
Press working area
The press working area will be open on Tuesday, 29 April from 08:00 to 21:30. Please note that access to the plenary is only from 12:30. Catering will be available for press from 12:00 to 15:00, and from 18:00 to 21:00. There are facilities on site where other refreshments can be purchased. There will be no refreshments in the press working area on day 1 before 11:00.
On Wednesday, 30 April the press working area will be open from 07:45 to approximately 16:30. Catering will be available from 12:00 to 15:00. Coffee, tea and water will be served at all times.
There are editing booths available for TV crews in the press working area.
The pool signal (English, Spanish and original) will be distributed in the press working area in the following formats:

ISO CLOSE CAM (HD-SDI with embedded audio)
PGM (SDI with embedded audio)
PGM (HD-SDI with embedded audio)
Analogue audio (XLR)
Stand-up positions
Stand-up positions are located at the back of the plenary hall. They will be accessible on Tuesday from 12:30 and on Wednesday from 08:00.
Live broadcasting via satellite
The EPP will provide live coverage of the event via satellite, as well as the pool signal distributed in the press working rooms. The signal will be broadcast on Tuesday, 29 April from 11:00 GMT until 17:30 GMT and on Wednesday, 30 April from 06:30 GMT until 12:00 GMT.
