EPP Summit
Date: Thursday, 23 October 2025 from 07:30 to 09:30.
Venue: Hotel Sofitel Brussels Europe, Pl. Jourdan 1, 1040 Brussels.
EPP Leaders will participate in the EPP Summit in Brussels on Thursday 23 October. Preparations for the European Council on 23-24 October will be on the agenda. EPP President Manfred WEBER and EPP Secretary General Dolors MONTSERRAT will host the Summit.
The following leaders have confirmed their attendance:
  • President of the European Commission Ursula von der LEYEN and President of the European Parliament Roberta METSOLA.
  • Heads of state/government Nikos CHRISTODOULIDES (Cyprus), Luc FRIEDEN (Luxembourg), Ulf KRISTERSSON (Sweden), Friedrich MERZ (Germany) Kyriakos MITSOTAKIS (Greece), Luís MONTENEGRO (Portugal), Petteri ORPO (Finland), Andrej PLENKOVIĆ (Croatia), Evika SILIŅA (Latvia), Christian STOCKER (Austria), Donald TUSK (Poland) and Rosen ZHELYAZKOV (Bulgaria).
  • Deputy Prime Ministers Marian JUREČKA (Czechia), Antonio TAJANI (Italy) and Vincent VAN PETEGHEM (Belgium).
  • Opposition leaders Annita DEMETRIOU (Cyprus), Janez JANŠA (Slovenia), Mona JUUL (Denmark), Laurynas KASČIŪNAS (Lithuania), Alberto NÚÑEZ FEIJÓO (Spain), Urmas REUNSALU (Estonia) and Erna SOLBERG (Norway).
  • Members of the EPP Presidency Magnus BRUNNER (Austria), Andrzej HALICKI (Poland), Kostis HATZIDAKIS (Greece), Siegfried MUREŞAN (Romania), Paulo RANGEL (Portugal), and Dubravka ŠUICA (Croatia).
  • EPP treasurer François-Xavier BELLAMY (France).
  • President of the EPP Group in the CoR Sari RAUTIO.

Press registration will open at 07:00. Due to the early timing of the Summit, the press working area will be limited.
