On Saturday 1 June, Ursula von der Leyen, EPP Lead Candidate, will be in Spain for campaign activities alongside EPP member party, Partido Popular (PP).
In the morning, Lead Candidate von der Leyen will be in Santiago de Compostela, where she will visit the city’s famous Cathedral along with PP’s leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo and President of Galicia, Alfonso Rueda.
Later she will be in O Pino to participate in a campaign event of Partido Popular. She will deliver a speech at the event at +/- 14:00 CEST, which will be broadcast live on the candidate’s X account.
In the evening, the Lead Candidate will be in Madrid, where she will watch, with Mr Núñez Feijóo, the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
