On Monday 3 May, Ursula von der Leyen, EPP Lead Candidate, will be in Stockholm, Sweden to meet with the leaders of EPP member parties Moderaterna and Kristdemokraterna, visit a family-owned forest farm and attend a townhall meeting with students. EPP Lead Candidate von der Leyen will start the trip at a small-scale family-run forest farm near Stockholm with Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Sweden and leader of the Moderaterna, and Ebba Busch, Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and leader of Kristdemokraterna. The owners of the forest farm will give a tour of the grounds and discuss the conditions of forestry in the country. Later in the day, there will be a townhall meeting organised by the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association (YATA). Lead Candidate von der Leyen will be joined by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Moderaterna Lead Candidate Tomas Tobé. They will hear from students and discuss the upcoming European elections and Europe’s role in the world.
